Deluxe Sportster Hardtail 1982-2003

This Sportster hardtail kit is designed to fit 1982-2003 Harley Davidson Sportster models. This is a Sportster hard tail kit to convert a stock swing-arm Sportster into a rigid framed motorcycle with a 2" stretch. Features include solid machined rear motor mounts, laser cut axle plates and threaded axle adjusters. The hard tail is constructed of 1-1/4" .120 wall steel tube and 100% T.I.G. welded. The benefit of hard tailing your Sportster is it allows you to keep a stock VIN, avoiding difficult inspections and insurance issues that come with assigned identification numbers or "Special Construction" designations. It includes user friendly installation instructions and is easily installed. We recommend leaving the welding to the pros. Made 100% in the U.S.A.  Throw one of these on your stock Harley Sportster and you'll be a chopper god in no time!

This hardtail option is a stripped down version of our Deluxe Hardtail Kit. It includes all mounts and brackets pre welded on, as well as the same hardware kit that comes with the Deluxe Kit. This hardtail does NOT include a seat, sissy bar or rear fender, giving you the autonomy to customize it as you wish! Choose to run our horseshoe oil tank or  leave that up to your own creativity as well.

• Offered with or without oil tank with internal battery mount intended for use with antigravity 12 cell battery 
• Battery hold down bracket and hardware for use with 12 cell antigravity batteries
• Colony axle adjusting hardware
• Rear brake mounts are included for use of 1982-2003 OEM rear calipers. 82-86 and 87-99 caliper brackets will need slight modification.
