Shovelhead Tin Inner Primary Cover - Chrome

Tin inner primary cover will allow you to mount a vintage Big Twin style primary cover to your alternator Shovelhead engine.  This is a custom product that is to be used with an early style tin primary covers.  This cannot be used with a starter and will fit Shovelhead motors from 1970-1984.

• To be used in conjunction with early tin style Harley primary covers

NOTE: This is a custom part and may require modification to properly fit your build.  The front mounting holes are designed to fit Shovelhead motors, however due to the differences in frames, transmissions, and transmission location, it is possible that the rear hole does not properly center your transmission shaft and clutch bracket within the inner primary.  It may be necessary to slot the front holes in order to adjust the "Clocking" of the primary cover to properly center your clutch basket and avoid rubbing of your primary belt or chain on the edge of this inner primary.
