No other kit includes more (seat, oil bag, fender, sissy bar, battery hold-down, brake stay, axle adjuster bolts, tabs already welded on, holes tapped and ready, phew!) It's convenient and gets you there most of the way. Priced out piece-by-piece from other sources, this kit saves you money! The only thing I would change is the oil bag inlet. As it comes, it only allows for the push-in style, stock, oil cap. They don't look great, and don't fit the style of the kit. Instead, I would tap the hole and add in a threaded filler cap. I plan on doing this, but that would be something nice to already include in the kit. Cheers, and thanks for a great hardtail kit!
Easy to do. 3 simple cuts. Measurements don’t have to be exact. Have a good welder to tack it all up. Seth and the folks at Throttle addiction were responsive and helpful. I did everything solo. Would definitely be easier with another set of hands but all in all it was pretty simple.
Haven’t had installed yet but everything looks good. Can’t wait to install im sure it will look great.
Put it on my 85 iron head. i was scared since it wasn’t an evo. WORTH IT. if you have a 82-85 don’t be scared and go with this kit.
Fit up great, like the look the best out of the others offered by other companies
Top quality welds and great specs
There are a few cool kits on the market and I had my eye on a couple, this being one of them. The reason I initially purchased this kit was because of the customer service I received from the company. Zach is a good dude. Treats you like a friend, not just another customer. When I went to install the kit, I ran into some alignment issues. Zach spent a good amount of time on the phone with me and walked me through a few ideas. Not that there was anything wrong with the hardtail, it was an error on my end and I am now good to go. The kit is absolutely solid, you won’t be disappointed.
Didn't get any directions good thing there was the video to refer to
Got the chopper virus for my 86 XLH1100! Very solid hardtail kit - love that it includes pretty much everything. Throttle Addiction team is very helpful and answered my questions throughout the process. Can’t wait to get this sporty back on the road!
