We can't resist lasering stuff onto blank canvases, like a derby cover such as this. Hell, you have to have a derby cover, why not make it do some of your talkin' while folks are gawkin'. These covers are made with die-cast construction with a domed smooth design. Powder coat top layer is laser etched off in the desired design to reveal the raw aluminum on the underside.

128 derby cover
Derby cover is very nice. I was hoping it would be cut a little deeper so I could paint or powder coat the numbers red. I wish there was an option to have a second pass with the laser. Other covers I have that were double cut were easy to paint in with a red paint pen. If you want the cover as it’s made then it is a good purchase. Top quality!
